  20.         What does APCNames ?
  21.  
  22.         APCNames is a useful utility for people who use PC disks to
  23.         interchange files between Amiga (with CrossDOS) and Macintosh
  24.         (with AccessPC®).
  25.  
  26.         It implements the file mapping algorithm used by AccessPC to
  27.         map the long Mac file names to short MS-DOS file names. By that
  28.         means APCNames lets you reconstruct the original file names on
  29.         the Amiga.

  31.         As APCNames is written in ANSI-C, it might be useful also for
  32.         UN*X users. The source is included in the archive.

  35.         What's new in this version ?

  37.         As I got bored of the "hardwired" type & creator mapping of the
  38.         former versions, I decided to make it changable. This version of
  39.         APCNames allows you to specify for which extension which type
  40.         & creator information is created. See the documentation for more
  41.         details.
